Our internet backbone is provided by multiple backbone ISPs providing resilience and high bandwidth availability to our customers: at the moment, our network has the following connections:

5xGigabit links to the Verio Network
1xGigabit link to Cogent
2xGigE links to Allegiance
1xGigE link to Willams
3xGigE links to MFN
1xOC3 link to Savvis
1xDS3 link to ELI

Each server in our datacenter is connected to 100Mbps switches to ensure faster data transfer across our internet networks. We are currently using less than 65% of all available external network capacity.

A single Gigabit connection (or GigE - "Gigabit Ethernet" connection) can transfer 1000Mb per second: that's the contents of the whole Oxford English Dictionary in 4 seconds, or an entire DVD movie in 3.5 seconds!

We also have multiple utility power supplies, multiple UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supplies) and backup generators to ensure extremely high uptime and availability to our customers!
